The Center takes your health and safety seriously.
In these unprecedented times, we want our audiences and students to know we are taking precautions for the sake of public health. Our Macon-Mercer Symphony Orchestra concerts at The Grand Opera House as well as the Fabian Series in Fickling Hall will require masks in the audience for all patrons. The Grand Opera House staff has placed several strategic policies to encourage distancing and best serve patrons. We would like to welcome you to enjoy a night of arts and culture, safely!

For students, parents, faculty/staff, prospective students and guest artists: Please see Mercer University’s extensive COVID-19 protocols at this site. We follow all regulations seriously and are proud of our students for maintaining the integrity of these distancing requirements in rehearsal and performance environments.
For patrons of the Macon-Mercer Symphony Orchestra: Please see The Grand Opera House’s page for up to date changes on COVID-19 policies. Staff and volunteers at the venue enforce these during our concerts. The Grand also has protocols in place for our artists and crew backstage.
