Renowned violin virtuoso Robert McDuffie is set to tour the eastern United States with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and acclaimed conductor Steven Mercurio next February, performing Johannes Brahms’ Violin Concerto in D minor, Op. 77.

The symphony will return to Macon on Monday, Oct. 4, when the brand-new Macon-Mercer Symphony Orchestra will play its opening concert at The Grand Opera House at 7:30 p.m. Tickets and season subscriptions are available now.

Violinist and pre-college alumna Amy Schwartz Moretti, cellist faculty member Bonnie Hampton, and the Telegraph Quartet will be featured in concerts.
