The Macon-Mercer Symphony Orchestra invites you to spend a love-filled evening of music on Valentine’s Day. The special Valentine concert will open with Pytor Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Overture to Romeo and Juliet and will conclude with his Symphony No. 4, considered by the composer to be his greatest compositional work. We are also pleased to have rising star double bassist/composer Xavier Foley join with the orchestra for a performance of his For Justice and Peace co-commissioned by Carnegie Hall and the Sphinx Organization.
