Symphony, redesigned with you in mind. With one of the most unique regional orchestras in the country creating a powerhouse audience for "Make More Music Mondays," we've proved that the symphony can be a home for everybody. The hall is abuzz with the joy of music, the power of the Middle Georgia community, and Mercer University’s McDuffie Center Young Artists collaborating with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra musicians. All shows proudly presented at The Grand Opera House.

Mercer University Concerto Competition Winner

Mussorgsky "Pictures at an Exhibition" arr. Ravel

The season concludes with the Mercer University Concerto Competition student winner, as well as the artistic suite, "Pictures at an Exhibition." Ravel's arrangement for large orchestra is the model of technical brilliance, creative vision, and thoughtfulness for Mussorgsky's original intent for the great piano work.
