Symphony, redesigned with you in mind. The first season of the Macon-Mercer Symphony Orchestra was anything but ordinary. From hip-hop to Haydn, from Otis Redding Foundation students to Carnegie Hall composers, the orchestra was the place to be. The Grand Opera House was filled with the joy of music, the power of the Middle Georgia community and Mercer University’s McDuffie Center Young Artists collaborating with musicians from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. We changed Macon’s music scene with just one season. Join us for Make More Music Mondays and see what the hottest ticket in town is all about.
