There’s a great quote: “If the plan doesn’t work, change the plan, but never the goal.” Our plans for the first Fabian concert of the 2022-23 series have changed, but our goal remains the same: To provide a musical experience of the highest quality. Toward that end, we’re excited to announce that pianist Orion Weiss will join Amy Schwartz Moretti, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra clarinetist Laura Ardan, Center faculty Lawrence Dutton and Daniel Tosky, and Center students on Tuesday, Sept. 27, to perform Weber’s Clarinet Quintet, Carlos Oliver Simon, Jr.’s moving Elegy, and Schubert’s beloved “Trout” Quintet in Fickling Hall, McCorkle Music Building. Reserve seats online or by calling (478) 301-5470.
